The MCP4902 Dual Channel DAC offers 8-bit resolution coupled with low power consumption and small packages. Communication with the device is accomplished via a simple serial interface using the SPI protocols. These DACs come with excellent differential non-linearity of less than ±0.5 LSB, making them well suited for set point control, offset adjustment and calibration applications. The low power consumption and small packages make these devices attractive for many portable and battery-powered applications. Both single and dual channel devices are available.
